Dance Workshops: Introductory instruction of West African Dance with
Niancho Sanneh and his lead percussionist. (45 minutes)
Percussion Workshops: Introductory instruction in th rhythm, techniques, and
history of West African drum. (45 minutes)
Teacher Workshops: Includes instruction in dance and percussion techniques to
enhance and support practical instruction.(2 - 45 minute workshops)
Residencies
A series of classes geared towards grasping a deeper knowledge of materials
learned in workshops including dance, drum, language and folklore. Complete lesson
plans and culminating performance included.
